The media play an essential role in educating, informing, decision-making and directing the thoughts and feelings of society. In our country, the media often operate in imitation of the Western media and without accurate and scientific use of Islamic principles and teachings. For this reason, in this research, an attempt has been made to design and explain the optimal media model based on Islamic principles and teachings.
The research method used in this research is a qualitative method of contextual theory with a systematic approach. The statistical population in the qualitative section is 18 people, including university professors in the fields of media and Islamic education, media and news experts, exemplary journalists, CEOs and media experts in the field. There were seminaries, think tanks and other institutions that were purposefully selected and snowballed and interviewed in a semi-structured manner. Then, open, axial and selective coding was used to analyze the data. In open coding, 1023 concepts were obtained and in axial coding, 119 key concepts and 58 categories were extracted. In the selected coding, based on the above dimensions, the desired media model was designed based on Islamic principles and teachings.
