After the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, anti-Shiism and Iranophobia are two important factors in most of the media in the Arab world, whether in written form such as Al-Hayat, Al-Sharq Al-Awsat, Akhbar Al-Khaleej, Al-Ittihad, Al-Riyadh or visually as a network. Al Jazeera, Al Arabiya, Al Arab.
The purpose of this research, which has been written in a descriptive-analytical method based on "representation theory", is to study the role of the Saudi Al-Arabiya network in influencing the public opinion of the Arab world by representing some anti-Iranian and Shiite events. According to the theory of representation in the process of influencing public opinion, a media is never a neutral tool and a neutral mediator in presenting the image; Because the media relies on language and meaning, and language and meaning always rely on power in the context of discourse. According to the "biased representation" theory, the Al-Arabiya network, based on the Wahhabi ideology, traces and pursues a policy of Iranophobia and anti-Shiism in a way that even Iran is more dangerous to the Arab world than the Zionist regime. The results of the present study show that in the process of Saudi psycho-media operations against Islamic Iran and also deciphering the revelation of Arab-Israeli relations in the media dictionary of Al-Arabiya network, the Islamic Republic should be portrayed as an anti-Sunni military. It has nothing to do but suppress the Sunnis of the region and dominate the Islamic and Arab world in the form of the Shiite Crescent.
