Explaining America's cognitive war against the Islamic Republic of Iran

Abstract
Relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America have always been based on a pattern of conflicting behavior after the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran. Over the past four decades, America has used various policies to deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the failure of some policies has forced that country to change its procedures and tools. One of the tools that is currently in the attention of that country is cognitive warfare. The main purpose of this article is to explain America's cognitive war against the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the main question of the article is that what are the goals of America's cognitive war against Iran? In response to the research question, the hypothesis of the discussion is proposed in such a way that Delegitimization, loss of trust, securitization, launching civil disobedience, weakening the Iranian Islamic lifestyle and promoting the Western lifestyle are among the most important goals of America's cognitive war against the Islamic Republic of Iran. which is followed by using media techniques. The findings of the research indicate that the threats of the United States of America against the Islamic Republic of Iran have not only not decreased, but have taken on a cumulative aspect, and currently, cognitive warfare is one of the least expensive and at the same time the most effective tools used by that country to deal with the Republic...
